This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or
contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under UK GDPR.
Who we are
ORM Solutions is a digital marketing business based in Coventry, United
Kingdom. We are not a registered limited company, so we have no company number to quote.
- Address: 52 The Martyrs Close, Coventry, CV3 5FL
- Email: contact@ormsolutions.uk
- Telephone: 07405 919034
What we collect
We collect only what you give us, and a small amount of technical data that any website
receives.
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, telephone number and
whatever you write in the message. - When you call or email us: the contact details you use, and the content of the
conversation. - Automatically: standard server log data such as IP address, browser type and
the pages you viewed, plus analytics data described below.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and quote for work. Lawful basis: steps taken at your
request before entering a contract. - To provide services you have engaged us for. Lawful basis: performance of a
contract. - To keep the website working and secure, and to understand how it is used.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running and improving the site.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for automated decision making or profiling. We do not
send marketing emails to enquiry contacts unless you ask us to.
Where enquiry data is stored
Enquiries submitted through the contact form are stored in this website database on our hosting
provider’s servers, and are also emailed to us. Only we have access.
Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.
- Google, where analytics and Search Console data is processed. See the
cookie policy for detail. - Our email provider, which carries enquiry notifications.
We will disclose data if the law requires it. Some of these providers process data outside the
UK, under the safeguards their own terms set out.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records: for the engagement, then six years, because tax rules require
business records to be kept that long. - Analytics: for the retention period set in the analytics tool.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or
object to how we use it, or transfer it elsewhere. Email
contact@ormsolutions.uk and we will respond within one
month.
If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s
Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
